Magic amongst the audience

Big shows on stage are very impressive. But when the spectator experiences magic right next to himself it is absolutely stunning. During his close up programme David Lavé shows tricks shoulder to shoulder with his audience, directly in front of their eyes.

"Even now our staff is still puzzled about how the
lemons got under the mug. We congratulate you on
your excellent talent to entertain people in such an amazing way."

Close up magic is clearly the most impressive kind of magic. The artist works with the audience around him, without trap-doors or false bottom. He only works with deflection and his fast fingers. And David Lavé is fast. So fast that his fingers seem to leave his hands.

David Lavé makes signed playing-cards disappear and then appear again in unexpected places. He merges dissected ropes and works wonders in the hands of his guests.
At the end only one question remains: how did he do it?

Why close up magic?

This kind of magic gets more and more popular because it can be performed anywhere. At the bar, in the hall or directly at the tables of your guests. There are no limits to your requests.

Close up magic doesn't require the full attention of the whole audience like at a stage show. When David Lavé goes from table to table he deliberately only includes small groups, which bit by bit loosens up any party, providing a nice flow of your event.

Close up magic does not require any technical efforts, it is neither attached to a certain time nor place.

Close up magic acts like an ice-breaker. Amazing tricks are always a topic of conversation - your guests have something to talk about and that way get to know each other.

Close up magic can be part of a programme in-between full course dinners. Entertainment between the courses helps waiting for the next delightful meal.

Close up magic is often combined with a stage-show. As an appetizer or after the show - to top the evening.
